During the early evening hours on April 6, 2024, a package was stolen from the front porch of a residence in the area of Mackenzie Street North and Durand Street. That package contained jerseys for the Bluewater Flag Football League, which is a youth flag football league. Spring football season is coming quickly and the organizers are trying to recover these jerseys before the start of the season. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 519-344-8861 or

  Broadcast Time:     11:30 am        Date: April 6, 2024 The Sarnia Police Service investigated a motor vehicle collision that occurred on 6 April, 2024 at 12:22 am. The collision took place on Lakeshore Road at Dell Ave, in the City of Sarnia. The area of Lakeshore Road between Carl Street and Hillcrest Drive has now re-opened.   Broadcast Time:    5:00pm                    Date: April 5, 2024   On April 3rd, 2024, at 6:40pm the Sarnia Police Services responded to 811 Devine Street for a robbery that had just occurred. The 23 year old victim resides in an apartment at this address and is prescribed opioids for a medical condition. A male suspect knocked on the apartment door indicating there was an emergency outside asking for help. The victim answered, at which time the male held a knife to the occupant’s stomach, demanding her prescription medication. She provided a quantity of her medication and the suspect fled on foot.   Broadcast Time:    2:00pm                Date: April 3, 2024   The Sarnia Police Service, Criminal Investigations Division continue to investigate the daytime robbery which occurred at the Northgate Pharmacy on March 13, 2024. The Northgate Pharmacy is located within the Northgate Plaza on Exmouth Street, in the City of Sarnia. The vehicle in question is a black, 2014-2017 Kia Sorrento. The vehicle may have some paint peeling, or dirty blemishes on the driver’s side.

  Broadcast Time:        11:00am            Date: April 2, 2024   On March 30th, 2024 at approximately 8:30pm, a 57 year old female, was walking her dogs near the intersection of Napier Street and Durand Street, in the City of Sarnia. As the female was stopped to pick up her dog’s stool, an unknown party, completely unprovoked, struck her from behind in the face, twice, with a closed fist. An accurate description of the suspect has not been ascertained at this time. The female victim suffered bruising and headaches as a result of this unprovoked assault. Broadcast Time:                                Date: On March 27, 2024, members of the Sarnia Police Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the Sarnia Police Criminal Investigations Division executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant at a residence in the 100 block area of Cotterbury Street in Sarnia. During the execution of the search warrant, two individuals were arrested without incident. A search of the residence uncovered a significant quantity of controlled substances, including: 87.84 grams of fentanyl 15.67 grams of cocaine 13.74 grams of crystal methamphetamine 12 Ecstasy pills Also located were a large quantity of prescription pain medication and cash: 84- 8mg

  Broadcast Time:    10:02am                    Date: 2024/04/01 On Friday, March 29th 2024 at 2:50 pm, Sarnia Police responded to multiple 911 calls requesting an ambulance for an injured male in the area of Kathleen Street and Walnut Street in the city of Sarnia. Original Release: Assault With a Weapon Arrest The initial disturbance was described as an unknown male involved in a physical altercation with the victim. During this altercation, a female stuck the victim several times with a hammer.   Broadcast Time:    2:00 PM                    Date: 30 March 2024 On Friday, March 29th 2024 at 2:50 pm, Sarnia police responded to multiple 911 calls requesting an ambulance for an injured male. Officers arrived at Kathleen Street / Walnut Street to find a 28-year-old male with obvious facial injuries. Information was quickly obtained that he had been involved in a physical fight with another male inside a Kathleen Street residence over illegal drugs. Information was that a group of youth were looking to cross from London Road School to the Boys & Girls Club of Sarnia-Lambton after-school program at the Lochiel Kiwanis Centre. As the group was waiting to cross a female, behaving erratically, ran onto the road and started to direct the group to cross. On March 12, 2024, a break and enter occurred at a residence on Magnolia Lane. Two (2) high end bicycles were taken along with tools and a wallet containing multiple pieces of identification and credit cards. The items taken have an approximate value of $3500.
