The Sarnia Police Service Patrol Vehicle Named Canada’s Best Dressed Vehicle (Community Relations Category)

The Sarnia Police Service Aamjiwnaang Community Patrol Vehicle was unveiled in May 2024 (original media release: https://www.sarniapolice.ca/news/19/sps-launches-aamjiwnaang-heritage-vehicle/)

We are pleased to share that this unique vehicle design has won first place in the Community Relations category of Blue Line Magazine’s Canada’s National Best Dressed Vehicle contest.

This is the second win for the Sarnia Police Service after last year’s third-place win in the “Best Dressed” general patrol category.

The Sarnia Police Service would like to thank Aamjiwnaang member Aaron Plain for his outstanding design of the vehicle wrap and Aamjiwnaang Chief and Council for selecting his design in their support of this patrol vehicle initiative

The Sarnia Police Service is proud to provide contract municipal policing services to Aamjiwnaang First Nation. This community patrol vehicle design initiative is intended to preserve the unique identity of the Aamjiwnaang First Nation, with SPS as their chosen policing providerIt is a key part of our ongoing commitment to fostering positive community relationships with those we serve.

We look forward to seeing the vehicle featured in the March/April 2025 edition of Blue Line magazine.
