On March 3rd, 2025, at 9:40pm, a male, who was 20 years of age was walking home after the completion of his work shift at a local business.  As he walked by Laurel Lea park, he observed four males in the park, one of whom appeared to be passed out.

The victim realized that three of the males were walking towards him, at which time one of the males shouted at him.  The victim did not hear what he said as he was walking with earbuds in at the time.  One of the males then attempted to pull the backpack off the victims back.  The victim responded by kneeing the perpetrator in the abdomen.  The victim then ran from the scene while the three males pursued him.  The victim was successful in outrunning the perpetrators.
