Three Arrested after Sarnia Police VICE Unit Executes Drug Warrant

Three Sarnia residents were arrested last night and face multiple charges after a drug warrant was executed on Mitton Street.

On November 15th, 2023, shortly after 7pm, members of the Sarnia Police VICE Unit and the Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence in the 300 block of North Mitton Street in the City of Sarnia.

As a result of the warrant, investigators located and seized the following weapons, controlled substances and currency:

  • Black and silver replica handgun
  • Switchblade style knife.

Drugs seized:

  • 27.90 grams of suspected fentanyl
  • 24.06 grams of suspected cocaine
  • 2.26 grams of crystal methamphetamine

Money seized:

  • $985.00

The total street value of the controlled substances seized is valued at approximately $7,882.20.

Kyle Herron (25) of Sarnia was charged with Possession of a Schedule l Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking x3, Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose x2, Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon and Breach of Probation.

Skyla Rogers (24) of Sarnia was charged was charged with Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance x3, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose x2, Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime and Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.

Isaiah Joseph (25) of Sarnia was charged with Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance x3, Possession of a Weapon for a Dangerous Purpose x2 and Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.

Herron and Joseph were held pending a bail hearing and Rogers was released on a Promise to Appear with a court date scheduled for December 13th, 2023.
