Victim Services of Sarnia – Lambton Inc. (Victim Services) is a charitable, community-based organization in Sarnia and Lambton County that provides 24 hour emergency service to victims of crime and tragic circumstance using trained volunteers. The Victim Services program: Victim Crisis Assistance Ontario is funded by The Ministry of the Attorney General. Volunteer Crisis Responders provide emotional and practical assistance to victims referred primarily through area police and emergency services. Referrals for service are also accepted from other social service agencies (including hospitals, schools, churches); fire departments, and self-referrals initiated by the individuals themselves. Situations requiring immediate assistance after normal business hours are only accepted from police, fire departments, and hospitals.
