On April 25, 2023, shortly after 10:00 am members of the public observed a male openly carrying what appeared to be a shotgun or long barrel firearm. The male was followed until he entered 125 Euphemia Street South where he was then observed to wrap up or conceal the firearm and proceed inside the building.
Sarnia Police Uniform Patrol Officers and Emergency Response Team Officers attended and contained the area within minutes. After containing the area for public safety, Emergency Response Officers confronted a male party who matched the description provided. The male was arrested without incident. The firearm in his possession was seized and determined to be a rifle style pellet gun. There were no injuries to any parties.
The accused, Todd Graham-Grey (35 years old) of Sarnia, is charged with the following:
- Possession of Weapon for Dangerous Purpose
- Fail to Comply with Probation
Graham-Grey was held for bail and has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance.
