At 10:30am on 21 Feb 2024, the Sarnia Police were called to a residence in the area of Queen Street / Devine Street in the City of Sarnia. At that time, officers made entry to the home and located a deceased adult male inside. https://www.sarniapolice.ca/suspicious-death-investigation/
As a result of the investigation, the suspicious death was upgraded to a Homicide on Thursday, February 22, 2024.

*UPDATE*
After the results of the post-mortem examination, the victim has been identified as 66 year old Christopher Michael Bond of Sarnia.
In the early morning hours of February 23, 2024, the male suspect identified by the Sarnia Police Service was located and arrested without incident by the Operations Division and held pending a bail hearing.
Adam Michael Bishop (40) of Sarnia has been charged with the following criminal charges:
- 1st Degree Murder
- Indignity to a dead body
