On March 27, 2024, members of the Sarnia Police Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the Sarnia Police Criminal Investigations Division executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant at a residence in the 100 block area of Cotterbury Street in Sarnia.
During the execution of the search warrant, two individuals were arrested without incident.
A search of the residence uncovered a significant quantity of controlled substances, including:
- 87.84 grams of fentanyl
- 15.67 grams of cocaine
- 13.74 grams of crystal methamphetamine
- 12 Ecstasy pills
Also located were a large quantity of prescription pain medication and cash:
- 84- 8mg Dilaudid pills
- 98 – 9mg Hydromorphone Contin pills
- 3 – 18mg Hydromorphone Contin pills
- $2,990 in Canadian currency and $286 in American currency.
The arrested individuals, Shelley CAMPBELL (62) and Nathalie LANDRY-SUTHERLAND (59) of Sarnia are both charged with the following criminal offences:
- 6 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime.
Both Shelley CAMPBELL and Nathalie LANDRY-SUTHERLAND were held for a bail hearing.
The total street value of the drugs seized is approximately $13,176.
