Napier Street – Fentanyl Trafficking

In August of 2023, the Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigations Division and VICE unit initiated an investigation regarding fentanyl trafficking.

During the course of this investigation, the Sarnia Police located 270 grams of Fentanyl, within a residence, in the 200 block of Napier Street. The street value of this fentanyl is $47,250.

The Sarnia Police Service have laid charges against an individual in relation to this investigation.

Roderick Eugene Bressette (18 years of age) was arrested on February 12th, 2024, and charged with the following offences:

  • possess a substance included in Schedule I to wit: fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to Section 5(2) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act
  • did without lawful excuse, store ammunition in a careless manner, contrary to Section 86(1) of the Criminal Code

Roderick Eugene Bressette was held in custody overnight by the Sarnia Police. He has been remanded until Friday, February 16, 2024, when he will appear for a bail hearing.

A subsequent media release updating the public of the additional charges involving Bressette is forthcoming.
