During the spring of 2023, members of the Sarnia Police Vice Unit, began an investigation involving the trafficking of drugs within the City of Sarnia.
On May 10, 2023, a search warrant was executed in the 1600 block of London Line. As a result of the warrant execution, a female was taken into custody without incident. A search of her residence commenced and, as a result, the following was seized:
- 82.17 grams of methamphetamine
- 38.77 grams of cocaine
- $1090.00 Canadian currency
The total street value of drugs and cash seized was approximately $9,843.70.
The accused, Samantha MUNRO, age 31, of Sarnia, faces the following charges:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – methamphetamine
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine
MUNRO was held for bail and released on a form 11 to speak to her charges at a future date.
