On February 16th, 2024 the Sarnia Police Criminal Investigations Division, Vice Unit, and Emergency Response Team, conducted a search warrant at the address of 222 Napier Street, in the City of Sarnia. The subject of the search warrant was related to firearms related offences.
Upon entry, officers located a loaded .22 caliber hunting rifle located in close proximity to the front door of the residence. Police also located ammunition, 5 grams of fentanyl, and seized several hunting rifles from the home.
The following people have been arrested and charges with the following offences:
Roderick Eugene Bressette (18 years of age)
1. Careless Storage of a Firearm cc 88(1).
2. Careless Storage of Ammunition cc 88(1).
3. Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose cc 88.
4. Possession of a Controlled Substance CDSA 4(1).
Hayleigh HAWRYLUK (18 years of age)
1. Careless Storage of a Firearm cc 88(1).
2. Careless Storage of Ammunition cc 88(1).
3. Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose cc 88.
4. Unauthorized Possession of a firearm cc 92(1).
5. Possession of a Firearm with Ammunition cc 95(1).
Roland ST. JEAN (71 years of age)
1. Careless Storage of a Firearm cc 88(1).
2. Careless Storage of Ammunition cc 88(1).
3. Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose cc 88.
4. Unauthorized Possession of a firearm cc 92(1).
5. Possession of a Firearm with Ammunition cc 95(1).
Dianne ST. JEAN (70 years of age)
1. Careless Storage of a Firearm cc 88(1).
2. Careless Storage of Ammunition cc 88(1).
3. Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose cc 88.
4. Unauthorized Possession of a firearm cc 92(1).
5. Possession of a Firearm with Ammunition cc 95(1).
An Arrest warrant exists for the following individual in relation to this occurrence:
Dakota BRESSETTE (22 years of age)
1. Careless Storage of a Firearm cc 88(1).
2. Careless Storage of Ammunition cc 88(1).
3. Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose cc 88.
4. Unauthorized Possession of a firearm cc 92(1).
5. Possession of a Firearm with Ammunition cc 95(1).
6. Fail to Comply with a Release Order cc 145(5)(a).
7. Fail to Comply with a Release Order cc 145(5)(a).
