On February 27, 2024, members of the Sarnia Police Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the Sarnia Police Vice Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant at an apartment located at 289 Indian Road South, Sarnia.
During the execution of the search warrant, two individuals were located inside the residence and subsequently arrested.
A search of the apartment unveiled a significant quantity of controlled substances, including:
- 33.46 grams of fentanyl
- 551.97 grams of cocaine
- 946.73 grams of crystal methamphetamine
- 25 codeine pills
Also located were:
- prohibited weapon (butterfly knife)
- a hydraulic cocaine press
- $550 in cash
The arrested individuals, Donald BROWN (76) and Ethan LOCKING (22) of Sarnia are charged with the following criminal offences:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance (codeine)
- possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (3 counts – Methamphetamine – Cocaine – Fentanyl)
- Possession of a Prohibited Weapon
Ethan LOCKING was held for a bail hearing and Donald BROWN was released by the Sarnia Police with a future court date.
The total street value of the drugs seized is approximately $166, 053.
