On Friday, March 29th 2024 at 2:50 pm, Sarnia Police responded to multiple 911 calls requesting an ambulance for an injured male in the area of Kathleen Street and Walnut Street in the city of Sarnia.

Assault With a Weapon Arrest
The initial disturbance was described as an unknown male involved in a physical altercation with the victim. During this altercation, a female stuck the victim several times with a hammer. Investigation has revealed that previous to the hammer assault, the unknown male struck the victim with a baseball bat several times.
This previously unknown male has now been identified and arrested by Sarnia Police Service. Dustin Patrick DENLEY, 40 years old, of Sarnia has been held for bail on the following charges:
- CC 267 –Assault with a Weapon
- CC 267(b) – Assault Causing Bodily Harm
