Talfourd Street Unprovoked Assault – Male Youth Arrested

  Broadcast Time:    8pm                                Date: March 12, 2024 On Sunday March 10th, 2024 at 2:30pm police were called to a report of an unprovoked assault. Investigation revealed that a 66 year old Sarnia man was walking down the sidewalk, on Talfourd Street near Queen Street. An unknown suspect attacked the man from behind, striking him in the face multiple times causing bruising, abrasions and swelling. Immediately following the attack, the suspect fled on foot. Sarnia Police officers canvassed the area and located security footage capturing this assault. This was released to the public generating multiple leads. SPS Officer Faces Additional Charges

Stolen Vehicle involved in Bright’s Grove Break and Enters

On February 27th, 2024 the Sarnia Police Service investigated a stolen vehicle complaint from Ortec Environmental Services on Scott Road. A 2012 white GMC pickup truck was stolen from their property with company decals affixed to the side. At some point, these decals were spray painted over. ERT Arrest Warrant Executed

  Broadcast Time:    3 pm             Date: March 7th, 2024   On the 6th of March 2024, at 8:30pm, the Sarnia Police were called to a Sycamore Drive residence in the City of Sarnia.   Information received was that Cordell CHAMBERS 29 years of Sarnia, was present at that location. At that time, he was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for assault with a weapon, uttering threats, and breaching his probation. Impaired Driving Collisions

Police Make Arrest in Napier Street Shooting

  Broadcast Time:    5:30pm                Date: March 1, 2024   On August 28, 2023, at 12:55am Sarnia Police Service officers responded to the front doors of the SPS building for a male in obvious distress. Officers responded and quickly determined that this male had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Vice Unit Makes Significant Seizure.
