  Broadcast Time:    8pm                                Date: March 12, 2024 On Sunday March 10th, 2024 at 2:30pm police were called to a report of an unprovoked assault. Investigation revealed that a 66 year old Sarnia man was walking down the sidewalk, on Talfourd Street near Queen Street. An unknown suspect attacked the man from behind, striking him in the face multiple times causing bruising, abrasions and swelling. Immediately following the attack, the suspect fled on foot. Sarnia Police officers canvassed the area and located security footage capturing this assault. This was released to the public generating multiple leads.   Broadcast Time:        12:00PM                Date: March 8, 2024 The Sarnia Police Service are actively investigating a rash of thefts which have occurred in the Bright’s Grove area using a stolen automobile. On February 27th, 2024 the Sarnia Police Service investigated a stolen vehicle complaint from Ortec Environmental Services on Scott Road. A 2012 white GMC pickup truck was stolen from their property with company decals affixed to the side. At some point, these decals were spray painted over.   Broadcast Time:    3 pm             Date: March 7th, 2024   On the 6th of March 2024, at 8:30pm, the Sarnia Police were called to a Sycamore Drive residence in the City of Sarnia.   Information received was that Cordell CHAMBERS 29 years of Sarnia, was present at that location. At that time, he was wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant for assault with a weapon, uttering threats, and breaching his probation. Upon police arrival CHAMBERS refused to exit the residence necessitating that police contain the area. Given his non-compliance, the SPS Emergency Response Team was activated.   Broadcast Time:    6:52 a.m.            Date: March 3, 2024 On the 2nd of March 2024 at approx. 11pm, the Sarnia Police were called to two back to back motor vehicle collisions. Both incidents occurred within a half hour of each other and in both cases, the drivers were impaired by alcohol. Fortunately no other vehicles were involved and no injuries were reported.   Broadcast Time:    5:30pm                Date: March 1, 2024   On August 28, 2023, at 12:55am Sarnia Police Service officers responded to the front doors of the SPS building for a male in obvious distress. Officers responded and quickly determined that this male had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Officers performed life saving first aid on the victim until he was handed over to Lambton County Paramedics. Investigation revealed the victim had fled for his life from a residence on Napier Street, after being shot at with a 9mm handgun. He had been shot once in the neck, once in the chest, and in

  Broadcast Time: 2:36pm Date: February 28, 2024 On February 27, 2024, members of the Sarnia Police Emergency Response Team (ERT) and the Sarnia Police Vice Unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substance Act search warrant at an apartment located at 289 Indian Road South, Sarnia.   During the execution of the search warrant, two individuals were located inside the residence and subsequently arrested.   A search of the apartment unveiled a significant quantity of controlled substances, including: 33.46 grams of fentanyl 551.97 grams of cocaine 946.73 grams of crystal methamphetamine 25 codeine pills   Also located were: prohibited weapon

Broadcast Time:    2:00 pm                        Date: 26 February 2024 On February 12, 2024, at approximately 6:25 pm, the victim was entering the common area of his Queen Street apartment complex when person’s unknown to him attempted to follow him inside. The victim asked the parties (2 males and one female) if they resided there or who they were visiting and they were evasive in their answers, refusing to provide a reasonable explanation as to why they wanted access to the complex.   Broadcast Time:    10am                    Date: February 26, 2024 On February 25 2024 at 12:10pm, Sarnia Police attended an apartment building in the area of Colborne Rd and Berkshire Rd to remove two individuals who did not reside there. The owner (and resident) provided police access to their apartment, into which officers entered and announced their presence. Once inside, police located the accused attempting to hide behind a closet door. Police advised him that he was under arrest, and ordered him to show himself. He emerged from behind the door holding a machete and what appeared to be a handgun was observed at
