Police Investigating Attempted Robbery in Sherwood Village Park

  Broadcast Time:    14:00                            Date: August 5, 2023   The Sarnia Police Service is continuing to investigate an attempted robbery in Sherwood Village Park in the evening of August 4, 2023.  Around 6:15 pm, a lone female was walking her dog in the park in the area behind Oaklea Court when she was confronted from behind by an unknown assailant. Sheena BATES, 38 years old had an interaction with a government service on August 2, 2023 within the City of Sarnia, however she had already left the scene when police arrived to investigate. Ms. BATES remains listed as a Missing Person until police are able to locate her and check on her welfare. Fourth Home Invasion Suspect Identified by Police

  Broadcast Time:    2:05pm                Date: August 3, 2023 On June 14, 2023 shortly after 9:00pm, the Sarnia Police Service responded to a complaint of a Break and Enter that occurred in the area of Devine Street and Westbury Ct in the City of Sarnia. Police discovered that four males had broken into a residence and assaulted some of the occupants. One of the occupants sustained injuries to their head and face as a result of the attack and was transported to Bluewater Health by Lambton EMS for medical attention. Dangerous and Impaired Operation

  Broadcast Time:        2:00am                        Date: July 31, 2023   A male party has been arrested by the Sarnia Police after trying to mow down pedestrians with his vehicle in a South end neighbourhood. The male party initially pulled up into a city park and began attempting to annoy a homeless encampment by blasting his horn for several minutes. Incident at Sarnia Bay Concluded

  Broadcast Time:    8:00pm                            Date: July 29, 2023   The Sarnia Police Service has successfully resolved the matter at the Sarnia Bay waterfront area and the public is welcome to return. At 5:50pm, the Sarnia Police Service received a call regarding a person in crisis operating a motor vehicle. The vehicle was located positioned nosed up to the waters edge and the vehicle was secured in position by officers on scene with the use of police vehicles.
